These Mashing and Sparging bags are ideal for containing the grist during the mashing and boiling of all grain brews. They are also suitable for use during the "Brew in a Bag" (BIAB) method of all grain brewing.

These large bags can easily hold up to 5 kgs of grain. There are plenty of All Grain brewers that insist that a full and proper mash and an effective sparge can only be achieved if the grain is loose in the mash tun. I have not experienced these problems with my mashing or sparging when using this bag and it certainly makes cleaning the grain out of the mash tun an awful lot easier.

This Youngs Mashing bag has a circumference of approximately 115cm and an approximate depth (in the centre) of 30cm. It is ideal for the new style, wide necked, 32ltr Electrim boilers.
